Frequently Asked Questions about scrapping/selling your car - Scrap Cars Wanted Ni
Below are some of the questions often asked by our customers during the process of scrapping or selling a car to Ecopart.
We buy old, scrap or damaged cars, MOT failures or End of life cars. We are NOT a used car buying service.
For cars older than 12 years old, we work on your vehicle weight to determine a scrap value. This can change weekly due to changes in the market, but we will always offer the best price in Northern Ireland. For newer cars or damaged cars, we use calculations based on the information you supply to value your car.
If you are happy and have accepted your instant quote, complete the simple on-line form. We will then contact you and arrange collection of your vehicle. We deal with the paperwork for you and notify DVLA. We collect your car free of charge and issue you with a Certificate of destruction.
